Cafe Venice, in beautiful downtown Tuscaloosa, is a delightful local favorite. Serving a variety of delectable Italian standards like calzones and fettuccini and what has been described as the tastiest pizzas around.
The editors' recent experience at Cafe Venice was a real treat. For starters our server Todd was friendly, prompt and helpful. The meal was perfect from appetizer to dessert and could not have been better. The relaxed and inviting atmosphere is perfect for a date or casual conversation with friends. Splashes of red in the back room made for a pleasant visual experience, while the front rooms were subtle and warm.
The portion sizes are plentiful and the taste is unforgettable.
Appetizer: Spinach Parmesan Dip. Always a classic, a delicious and people pleasing choice.
Entrée: Chicken Picatta. Unique, crisp flavor. Chicken served over cappelini pasta
prepared with lemon, tomatoes & capers in a butter wine sauce. Delicious!
