Hello to everyone. It gives me great pleasure to inform you that we have our first wine dinner of the year approaching. On January 24 the Epiphany Cafe will host Emmanuel Kemiji the renowned winemaker from Miura Vineyards. For this event Tres Jackson has put together a superb menu that will highlight several of Kemiji's fantastic wines. Here is the menu:
Course One:
Scallop and Shittake mushroom soup with ginger and fried shallots
Paired with Falcor Napa Valley Rose 2005
Course Two:
Soy Cured Scottish Salmon with pear and chive salsa and cilantro sauce
Paired with Miura Talley Vineyard Chardonnay 2005
Course Three:
Rabbit Tenderloin with smashed white beans and Bok Choy and Red Curry
Paired with Miura Pisoni Vineyard Pinot Noir 2005
Course Four:
Beef Short Ribs with Root Beer and Curry over spiced grits
Paired with Miura Gary's Vineyard Syrah 2004
Course Five:
Bittersweet Chocolate Souffle with Star Anise and Chantilly cr�me
Paired with Cellars Triada D. Abbitas Gran Cava 2004
