Wine Dinner Coming Up At The End Of This Month At The Epiphany Cafe
February 21st, 2008
Thank you very much for making my ambivalent Valentine's Day such a success here at the shop. These tastings are really catching on so we'll keep it up as long as you all want us to. Okay for this week's tasting we will be graced by the presence of Grant Gordon from Pinnacle Imports. We will be doing the following wines:
Spy Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2006 Marlborough, NZ $18.99
Vinum Cellars “Chard No Way” Chenin Blanc 2006 Clarksburg, CA $11.99
Joseph Drouhin “La Foret” Chardonnay 2006 Burgundy, FR $13.96
Joseph Drouhin “La Foret” Pinot Noir 2005 Burgundy, FR $13.96
Grayson Cellars Zinfandel 2005 Central Coast, CA $11.99
Earthworks Shiraz 2006 Barossa Valley, AU $14.99
This is a nice variety of wines from Pinnacle Imports that I think you all will like. There is a little something for everyone.
In other store news... We have another wine dinner coming up at the end of this month at the Epiphany Cafe. Glen Toney of the Wine Source will be presenting a number of wines from his portfolio and they will be paired with the wonderful culinary delights of Tres Jackson. The wine dinner will be on the 28th of February and it will cost $65 a person plus tax and gratuity. Please call the restaurant to make reservations. The number is 205-344-5583. See below for the wine dinner menu.
So come out and join us for some great wines and good fun!
As always the tasting starts at 6:00 P.M. And runs until 8:30 P.M.
Thanks,
