My family and I eat here all the time. The servers know us by name, which is nice, and we know them. While the restaurant itself may not be as fancy as newer places in the heart of Tuscaloosa, La Gran Fiesta continues to serve up hot, delicious Tex-Mex cuisine with a great attitude in a clean, family friendly atmostphere.

While it is not as fancy as ***edited*** to me La Gran Fiesta is better than most other restraunts in Tuscaloosa. Good food at a great price, I am very picky about mexican food and they are far better than ***edited***, ***edited***, ***edited*** and others especially when you factor in price. Mexican food is greasy the person before I don't know what they are talking about....cause the place is not and their kitchen is clean. Better seating and atmoshpere would be a bonus but then you would probably be paying more for their food too. The staff are very friendly though I will say their fried icecream and other deserts could use a little improvement, most of their meals are perfection.

I love Mexican food, but this place is disgusting, greasy and dirty. I don't know why everyone in the Hillcrest area thinks it's so awesome.

This place has become one of my favorite places to eat Mexican. I have tried just about everything on the menu. The food is excellant.
The servers are friendly and make your meal here a pleasant experience.
The only bad experience I had, was due to small (loud) children, with bad manners!
This is a great affordable place to eat.
Try It, You'll like it.
