Our family has greatly enjoyed the delicious food at Schlotzsky's Deli for many years now. It is so refreshing to dine at a restaurant that affords a wide variety of healthy choices; each of us can always find something we like at Schlotzsky's. We eat at this restaurant on a regular basis on Sundays after church, but also visit for dinner and lunch on other days of the week. With regard to the fare served at Schlotzsky's, I am most impressed that it is consistently very tasty and well-presented with the highest-quality ingredients. Regardless of the time of day or night, we can trust that the food will be delicious and the sweet tea will still be the best in Tuscaloosa. While Schlotzsky's is a bit more expensive than some of the fast food chains, our family feels we get an excellent healthy meal for our spending dollar. From the barbeque chicken pizza, to the Vegetarian on jalapeno bread, to the hot and yummy soups, to the affordable kids' meal options -- we've yet to be disappointed.
Another attractive feature to this great restaurant is the owners' obvious commitment to cleanliness. Due to the fact that we are "regulars" at Schlotzsky's Deli, we have seen first hand the dedication to this goal in food preparation, dining area sanitization, and in the overall care and maintenance of the restaurant. The commitment to making the restaruant a clean and healthy place to eat appears to be a goal shared by all workers and servers. Classic soft rock music plays in Schlotzsky's Deli and is an excellent choice to complient the deli's laid-back, welcoming atmosphere.
Welcome is just how we feel every time we pass through the doors of Schlotzsky's Deli. There are fresh, smiling faces awaiting customers at the counter where special orders are not a problem. The food servers are just as warm and genuine in their striving to make each visitor a happy customer. That is just what we are, I suppose, very happy customers eager to share our favorite restaurant with you.
